| Our Olympic Journey so far |
First, we flew from Toronto to Chicago, and Chicago to Beijing. The trip was a total of 17 hours. We were selected to fly first class after our medal performances at the World Cups; this was nice and relaxing.

When we arrived it was straight to the Olympic Village to check it out, and to go for the Village opening Ceremony.

After the village opening, it was onto a bus for 45 minutes to the Shunyi district, were we will be racing, and living. We live about 5 minutes from the course, at the Dragon Villas. The next major event, was the Opening Ceremonies, for the Olympic games. We walked in the Opening as part of team Canada, behind teammate Adam Van K.
Last night we went from a Canoe/kayak Canada team dinner at the Canada house. The Canada house is very nice, and the food was great. Mike Chambers, the head of the COC, joined us for dinner.
